At Dayly Technologies, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website (dayly.site), the Square mobile application, and related services operated by Dayly Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website or app, you agree to this policy and our Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information collected through the Dayly Technologies website, the Square app, account registration, support channels, and any related online or mobile services we provide. Square includes user-generated content features such as direct messaging, group chats, communities, map activities, and profiles.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile data

Username, email address, user ID, profile photos, about text, social links, gallery images, and account preferences.

User-generated content

Messages, images, videos, files, profile information, map posts, activities, specials, and other content you create or share in Square.

Location data

With your permission, approximate or precise location data to show nearby activities, map pins, relevant content, and location-based notifications.

Device and usage data

Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, browser type, access times, diagnostic logs, and screens or pages viewed.

Push notification data

Push tokens and related identifiers used to deliver notifications about messages, activities, communities, and app updates.

Wallet and payment data

Wallet addresses, usernames used for payments, transaction IDs, order metadata, payment status, balances, and related logs. We do not store private wallet seed phrases or recovery phrases on our servers.

Safety, blocking, and moderation data

Blocked-user lists, ignored users, user reports (including reporter ID, reported user ID, reason, message or chat context, and timestamps), moderation actions, and records needed to investigate abuse or enforce our Terms.

Website contact data

Name, email address, telephone number, or other information you voluntarily provide when contacting us or requesting support.

3. User-Generated Content and Moderation

Square includes social and community features. Content you post or send may be visible to other users according to the feature you use. You are responsible for what you share. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users, as described in our Terms and Conditions. We may review, remove, restrict, or retain content when needed to enforce our policies, respond to reports, protect users, or comply with law.

4. Safety Tools: Block, Report, and Remove

Square provides in-app safety tools to help protect users from abusive behavior:

  • Block user: hides a user's messages from your feed, removes them from your friends list, and may suppress notifications from them.
  • Report user or content: sends a report to our moderation team with context such as chat ID, message ID, and reason.
  • Remove from friends: removes a person from your friends list in the app.
  • Manage blocked users: you can view and unblock users from Edit Profile.
  • We aim to act on credible reports within 24 hours by removing violating content and taking action against offending users, including account suspension or removal.

5. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account and profile
  • Provide Square features including chats, communities, maps, activities, and payments
  • Operate safety and moderation systems, including blocking, reporting, and abuse investigation
  • Monitor usage, analyze trends, and improve performance and security
  • Comply with legal, tax, auditing, and regulatory obligations

6. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information when required by law, with service providers (such as Firebase/Google Cloud), or during a business transfer, as described in our full in-app policy.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

8. Data Retention

  • Account information: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30 days after account deletion unless required by law.
  • Safety and moderation records: retained up to 3 years.
  • Transaction data: retained up to 7 years.
  • Device and access logs: retained up to 12 months.

9. Your Choices and Rights

In Square you can update profile information, manage blocked users in Edit Profile, block or remove users, report objectionable content, adjust device permissions, and request account deletion. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights.

10. Children's Privacy

Square is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on our website and in the app and update the "Last Updated" date.
